Built in 1975 The Chesapeake House is located in the median of I-95 at mile marker 97 in North East. It is approximately fourteen miles north of the Maryland House and twelve miles south of the Delaware state line. Food, fuel and auto repair services are available. Conveniently located in the Chesapeake House is a welcome center operated by the Department of Business and Economic Development.
