The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) is seeking to enter into a Public Private Partnership) for a 35-year term for the redevelopment and subsequent operation of the Maryland House and Chesapeake House Travel Plazas (Travel Plazas). Both Travel Plazas are located on Interstate 95 (I-95) in Harford and Cecil Counties respectively. The Travel Plazas are owned by the MDTA.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) for the redevelopment and long-term operations of the Travel Plazas is now available. The RFP will be available for download on this website, and on the eMarylandMarketPlace, https://ebidmarketplace.com/ website.
